Marks & Spencer Marble Arch on Oxford Street
Marks & Spencer has secured a deal with famed Sex and the City, Ugly Betty and The Devil Wears Prada designer and stylist, Patricia Field. This fall M&S will work with Patrica to sell an exclusive one-off fashion range in its stores starting in October. It's the first time M&S has worked with a designer on a once-in-a-lifetime range in this way.

Patricia said: “It’s just amazing to be working with such an iconic brand as M&S. I really wanted to get involved with a brand who really understood women of all ages and who would work closely with me to develop the range in a way that was right for them. I have conceptualized the line as ‘Destination Style New York’ and it consists of iconic womenswear including matching accessories. I like to see it as expression of my philosophy of ‘the democratisation of luxury’”.
First the good news. For the first time, M&S will not only sell the line in M&S’s UK stores and on its website, but also exclusively in its stores in a number of the international markets in which it operates.
Now the bad news. They have no stores in the US and do not currently ship overseas on their online site. Ugh! Thank goodness I have friends in the UK. :)
This 35 piece collection is exclusive to M&S (in the UK and selected international markets). The full collection will be available in 10 M&S stores from mid-October, as well as on-line, with selected pieces going to a further 50 stores across the UK.
Be sure to keep an eye on
M&S this fall to see the collaboration come to life!
